Investiture Ceremony

In June, at the start of the new academic year,

The new prefects of Gandhi (Yellow) Kabir (Red), Ashoka (Blue), and Tagore (Green) Houses are chosen. 
Children from the Primary and Secondary sections are nominated for their leadership qualities and good behavior. The Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains are usually from Std X.

Prefects are chosen for their academic achievements, their participation in curricular

and extra-curricular activities, their sense of responsibility, and qualities of leadership.

Prefects are groomed to become leaders of the future and to guide their fellow students on the right path.

Badges are pinned on them, alongside the House flag. Parents are invited to the ceremony and

stand alongside their child when he/she is made a prefect.  It is indeed an honor for the family.

The Prefects lead their house in the Athletic Meet March past.

The spirit of healthy competition between the four houses is encouraged. Justice, fair play, and friendly competitiveness are learned. The winning house with the maximum points takes the shield on Annual Day. The House teacher inspires the children to work as a team,

and always play fair, in both school and life ahead.
