SSC Farewell Party

Std X is always given a farewell party before they leave school, to sit for their Board exams.
The children wear their party clothes, the boys looking dapper in their suits, and the girls decked up in saris and looking attractive. It is sometimes difficult to believe that these young men and women are the same kids in uniform. Std IX prepares a small skit or dance for them.

The RMM Prince and Princess are crowned and made to wear the sash of honor. The Principal, Counsellor and other faculty say a few words of encouragement, to prepare them for their journey ahead into the real world. School gives each child a small token of good luck to wish them well in the Board exams and a souvenir to remind them of their years in RMM. Snacks and drinks are organized for everyone.

It is an afternoon of merriment, rejoicing, and pure joy to see how well our children have turned out.
